The Role

NewRocket is a global team made up of ServiceNow professionals who help our customers run and grow their ServiceNow environments.  Founded with the insight that technology has the power to make people’s lives better and recognized as one of the world’s most innovative companies, ServiceNow provides a platform that makes workflows work.  We are hiring for a Solutions Architect – Secops/IRM/GRC who will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of ServiceNow solutions and services. The Solution Architect will be responsible for architecting, leading and designing solutions using leading practices on complex professional services projects.

What You Will Be Doing

• Proven consulting experience as a key technical resource leading the development and delivery of ServiceNow solutions in client environments.
• Experience with ServiceNow for custom application design and development.
• Create and execute development plans as appropriate to meeting changing needs and requirements.
• Proven experience with key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration solutions including: SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, FTPS.
• Experience with scripting in the ServiceNow platform using JS: Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, Angular JS, Jelly, etc.
• Manage all aspects of application development, including design, coding, debugging, testing, troubleshooting, and documenting systems, query optimization, and report-writing.
• Customization of ServiceNow applications.
• Experience with implementing integrations with ServiceNow core.
• Creation of script-based Assignment and Approval rules, custom related lists, Access Control list, UI Policy, and client script.
• Knowledge of ITIL V3 processes and hands on with ITIL process implementation.
• Prefer expert level proficiency in at least two product lines including certifications.
• Conduct requirements gathering workshops.

What You Bring Along

• Help integration team in planning and packaging the ServiceNow Secops/IRM/GRC solution
• Presales Demo and Proof of Value for prospective customers.
• Conduct requirements analysis sessions and customer workshops.
• Troubleshoot and support ServiceNow based applications and systems
• Draft use cases and functional requirements, proposal, SOW documents for solutions
• Reviewing and providing guidance on functional requirements documentation
• May provide technical assistance in a pre-sale’s capacity
• Design custom or product-based solutions based on ServiceNow applications

Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, and/or equivalent work experience.  ServiceNow CIS and/or CSA certifications (preferred)
