Iron Mountain is seeking a dynamic Business Development Key Account Executive to drive new sales and revenue from both prospective and existing customer accounts. This role involves selling solutions through prospecting, networking, and executing marketing initiatives and account plans to expand Iron Mountain's footprint in assigned accounts, leading to revenue growth and quota attainment.

Your role in our mission

  • Drive net new sales and revenue growth from prospective and existing customer accounts within the assigned vertical.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies and business plans tailored to clients' business models and decision-making channels.

  • Position and illustrate the value of Iron Mountain's solutions by assessing client problems and highlighting IRM’s strengths and competitive advantages.

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to understand and influence organizational business objectives and goals.

  • Continuously prospect for net new clients, expand existing relationships, and manage account activity to meet and exceed quota attainment.

  • Lead negotiation processes and ensure timely outcomes from solution proposals, pricing, and SLAs to secure new business opportunities.

Valued skills and experience

  • Proven experience in solution sales and in-depth knowledge of the business environment.

  • Ability to translate customer needs into solution requirements and create powerful value propositions.

  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills with a track record of aligning insights to key customer priorities.

  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills, along with strong interpersonal and analytical abilities.

  • Capability to engage effectively with all levels of IRM and customer personnel, including C-level executives.

  • Proficiency in Power Messaging and Challenger Selling, or a commitment to quickly developing these skills.

  • Experience in developing and presenting to senior management within the customer base.

  • Expertise in understanding vertical market business challenges and delivering compelling value propositions.

  • Skilled in negotiation techniques and effective questioning, with robust account and relationship management experience.

  • Fluent English (both written and spoken)
