English Tutor

We are seeking a qualified and experienced English Language Teacher to educate children, aged 4 and 7 years, in an online setting. The ideal candidate is native English speaker with a strong background in teaching English as a first language and extensive experience in working with bilingual children.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, English, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 years of teaching experience, including both one-on-one and group sessions.
• Online Teaching Experience: Proven track record of conducting successful online lessons.
• Native English Speaker: Must be a native speaker of English.
• Teaching Methodologies: Expertise in methodologies for teaching English as a native language. Experience with special techniques tailored for bilingual children is highly desirable.
• Experience with Young Children: Extensive experience working with children up to 7 years old.
• Teaching Approach: Ability to apply methodologies focused on communicative skills development, general growth, and play-based learning.
• Engagement: Willingness to actively engage in the child’s learning process. Our children are homeschooled, and we require a teacher who can work collaboratively with a team of interesting and experienced educators to foster the child's holistic development.
• Individualized Approach: Capability to tailor lessons to meet the individual needs of each child.
• Flexible Schedule: Availability to offer a flexible schedule that accommodates the needs of both the children and their parents.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct online English lessons tailored to the developmental stages of a 4-year-old and a 7-year-old.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that foster communicative skills, overall development, and engage children through playful and interactive activities.
• Utilize specialized methods for teaching bilingual children, ensuring lessons are effective and enjoyable.
• Collaborate with other educators involved in the children’s homeschooling to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
• Provide a flexible teaching schedule that adapts to the family's needs.
