We are seeking a Team Leader/Manager with at least 7 years of experience in Australian public accounting. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge and the ability to oversee and delegate tasks to their team.

About the Role

As a Team Leader/Manager, you will manage compliance tasks and tax advice, ensuring high standards and timely outputs. You will blend high-quality accounting and taxation services with effective team coordination and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounting, taxation, and advisory tasks across various industries.
  • Provide team guidance and technical advice, creating a collaborative work environment.
  • Work with Senior Management to streamline processes and develop operational efficiencies.
  • Review and manage compliance tasks (financial reports, tax returns, etc.).
  • Oversee annual tax planning and provide specialised tax optimisation advice.
  • Review and manage advisory reports on clients' business performance and strategic planning.
  • Communicate complex accounting, taxation, and business matters clearly.

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years in tax and business services roles.
  • At least 2+ years as a manager or team leader.
  • Proven track record in workflow management and meeting client deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience servicing a diverse client base.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, especially Xero.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
