Job description

  • Paid time off (PTO) begins accruing immediately upon start date at a rate of 15 days per year, in accordance with Sound's PTO policy

The Implementation Manager will focus primarily on the implementation of new programs but will be encouraged and expected to provide meaningful input into performance management efforts over time, with the goal of developing expertise in at least one area of focus. The role will also support Strategic Projects and provide general reporting support to project-based initiatives.

 

travel (estimated average of 50%, with trips lasting 3-4 days, and occasional weekend work)

 

New program and service line implementations

  • Facilitating a clean hand-off from the Business Development phase to Implementation phase to Regional Leadership handoff post Implementation.
  • Customizing the common project plan by understanding the specific needs and timelines of each implementation.
  • Scheduling meetings and site visits, documenting and tracking project plans, communicating tasks and issues.
  • Managing the on-site discovery and go-live visits to ensure that the appropriate issues are being addressed.
  • Assisting in the development and delivery of various communication plans.
  • Ensuring clear accountabilities and follow through on action plans by working cooperatively with business stakeholders and elevating concerns and issues appropriately.

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • Knowledge of healthcare daily operations, specifically in the inpatient setting
  • Knowledge of relevant state and federal laws/regulations applicable to healthcare, including Joint Commission, CMS and HIPAA
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, Adobe Acrobat

  • 1-2 years in an inpatient healthcare environment related to operations management, project management and/or process improvement work
  • Project management experience, certification strongly encouraged
  • Outstanding stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage people to meet deadlines and complete action items to ensure a successful, on-time program launches
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to handle sensitive situations and confidential information. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact, diplomacy, and good judgment
  • Strong presentation skills
