Actuarial Career Program

NN RAS (Risk and Actuarial Services) is the NN Group's Centre of Excellence, focusing on top quality and efficient solutions. The company is developing dynamically, currently it consists of 100 people, including actuaries, programmers and we hope soon you will too. We serve as an internal hub for consulting, quantitative model development, automation and innovation. We support several departments of NN's headquarters in The Hague (Netherlands) and NN's subsidiaries across the world.

Now we are looking for exceptional talents for our new career program! We are also looking forward to receiving applications from career starters and career changers!

Indefinite employment contract with 3 months of training, long-term career opportunity in one of our teams! With fair pay even during the training!

Actuaries analyze and assess the financial costs of uncertainty and risks using a variety of mathematical, statistical, and financial theories.

What matters to us

🔸You are interested in mathematical analysis and coding, you like to think logically, you are motivated to get the most out of yourself

🔸You have an undergraduate degree(s) in one of the following fields: mathematics, financial mathematics, actuarial, physics, chemistry, economics, finance and accounting, risk analysis, engineering, computer science, sociology, or other relevant/quantitative fields

🔸Your English language skills are at least intermediate

🔸You are open to learning programming or deepening your existing knowledge (example: Python, R, VBA, C#)

  • Building and testing different models

  • Frameworks related to reporting: Solvency II, IFRS 17

  • Efficient use of databases

  • The advisory approach

  • Operating in an international environment
