Job description

About Coda
Coda is your all-in-one collaborative workspace. We bring teams and tools together for a more organized workday. Coda is familiar and flexible like the documents you're used to but comes with building blocks you can combine to create docs as powerful as apps. It's a big product with an even bigger mission. And with our launch of Coda AI, we give people a writing assistant that acts as an omnipresent, an informed Al collaborator, a knowledge assistant that understands your work across all of the tools you use, and a task assistant that combines all of this into powerful AI-enabled workflows.

We're backed by some of Silicon Valley's leading venture capitalists and have assembled a world-class team all over the United States. Join us as we take our product to the next level. Here's a quick overview of what we do.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced Product Marketing Manager to join our squad and translate what can seem like technically-complex magic into clear, accessible value for our growing community of enterprise customers, users, and decision makers. This role requires translating strategic insight into vision and action, cross-functional elegance mixed with hands-on execution, expert story-telling and messaging, and a genuine enthusiasm for solutions powered by Coda.

Specifically, this role is focused on our enterprise features—including turning strategic insights into GTM strategies (pricing, packaging, positioning, and value storytelling) that drive marketing metrics and high quality sales conversations. As a partner to every organization within Coda focused on continually improving the product experience, you’ll engage in meaningful inbound research with our customers and market, and drive alignment across go-to-market, product, design, and engineering teams. You’ll demonstrate go-to-market finesse in positioning, messaging, and timing, while helping Coda connect with new audiences.
In this role you will:
  • Position Coda to win in a broad market context, amongst a diverse list of competitors in a variety of audiences.
  • Develop a deep understanding of enterprise customer and decision-maker personas, pain points, and use cases to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Lead the end-to-end execution of product launches and feature updates targeting enterprise customers, including positioning, messaging, pricing, and sales enablement.
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to understand market trends, customer needs, and opportunities within the enterprise segment.
  • Develop and deliver effective sales tools and training programs that empower the sales team to effectively communicate the value of enterprise features to prospects and customers.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for enterprise feature adoption and campaign effectiveness, and utilize data-driven insights to optimize strategies over time.
  • Establish Coda as a thought leader in enterprise productivity tools through participation in industry events, webinars, and other relevant forums.
  • Foster a deep understanding of our users and customers, and help evangelize that understanding with our leadership and partner teams.
You may be a great fit for this role if:
  • You’re an authentic maker to tell Coda's story; a talented Product Marketer with a passion for the Coda mission and product.
  • You have a love of productivity tools, eagerness to learn the ins and outs of how a product works, and a desire to roll up your sleeves to make things happen.
  • You can blend strategic thinking with hands-on execution, customer empathy, problem-solving skills, and accountability.
  • You have 3-5 years of experience positioning B2B enterprise SaaS solutions.
  • You're a natural organizer on your teams ー well versed in the art of working cross-functionally.
  • You have proven experience crafting compelling content and messaging.
  • You’re comfortable with turning ambiguity into insights.
