We have an immediate, full-time need for a skilled, energetic, and driven Junior Proposal Manager.
Description: The Junior Proposal Manager will lead and coordinate technical and management proposal efforts for
Government entities and commercial clients in accordance with business goals. The successful candidate will have
strong time management and organizational skills; excellent professional leadership, writing, and editing skills; a
commitment to quality and an eye for detail including spelling, grammar, and punctuation; and the ability to multi-task,
meet deadlines, and collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment. Prior Federal contracting
experience and experience with creating graphics using Canva or similar tool are a plus.
Junior Proposal Manager Job Duties:
- Manage and edit clear and concise proposals conforming to Government or customer instructions
- Review Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs), and Requests for Information (RFIs)
- for applicability; extract requirements from Government documents
- Track upcoming RFP/RFQ/RFI opportunities; support go/no-go planning and execution
- Schedule, plan, and lead proposal kick-off meetings, solutioning sessions, review meetings, and other
- meetings as required
- Complete data calls for organizations, and organize and integrate partner data calls
- Support document organization and consolidation of content, comments, etc.
- Research and write new technical content based on interviews and/or examples
- Ensure content is of high quality, conforms to applicable Government or industry standards, and maintains a
- consistent tone and voice
- Adapt to feedback and make improvements to processes and outcomes
- Edit and proofread content for grammatical correctness, brevity, consistency, and technical accuracy
- Maintain and organize library of past writing samples, company success stories, and statistics
- Help to create compelling graphics and images
- Perform other duties as assigned
Security Clearance Requirements: None required upon applying, but desire and ability to undergo extensive
background check to obtain future security clearance is highly preferred. Must be a U.S. citizen to apply.
Experience Requirements: Minimum 1 year of professional writing and editing experience; Federal contracting
experience is a plus
Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, marketing, or related field; or the
equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Desired Skills / Qualifications: Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; attention to detail; excellent spelling,
grammar, proofreading, and typing skills; strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Status: Full time
Schedule: Day shift, Monday–Friday
Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long durations of time. Also, must be
able to continuously operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
Travel Required: Occasional travel may be required
