Job description

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

This position will be responsible for providing global procurement support to ***, serving as a program manager executing its Labeling and Rebranding initiative stemming from its separation from *** Company. This position will be responsible for timeline management; supplier communication; request for quotations including preparation, execution and analytics and purchase information record creation. The employee works independently and consults with stakeholders, cross-functional co-workers and the supervisor for assistance.

Timeline Management: Manages a portfolio of projects. Maintains clear communication channels with team members and stakeholders. Uses project management tools to share timelines, progress, and updates. Addresses any deviations promptly to keep the project on track.

Supplier Communication: Fosters collaborative relationships with suppliers. Communicates requirements, specifications, deadlines clearly and effectively to maintain project momentum. Monitors supplier performance regularly to ensure alignment.

Request for Quotations: Collaborates with internal stakeholders to build RFQ package. Requests Suppliers for quotations. Runs cost analysis to quantify financial impact and identifies cost-reduction opportunities. Communicates results to key stakeholders for KPI shareout.

Purchase Information Record Creation: Prepares the PIR file and submits requests to STP team for execution and completion. Works with Buyers to address concerns. Recognizes impacts on processes and ensures communication of issues and proposed solutions to appropriate business and process owners.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, *** requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

Possess a bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution and minimum of five (5) years of combined sourcing, procurement, logistics, supply chain, sales, engineering and/or manufacturing experience in a private, public, government, or military environment

Or

Possess a High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution and a minimum of twelve (12) years of combined sourcing, procurement, logistics, supply chain, sales, engineering and/or manufacturing experience in a private, public, government, or military environment

Candidate should be well versed in MS Excel - reports, reviewing data, etc.
