Mammoth Growth is seeking hungry, entrepreneurially-minded individuals for the role of CEO in Training (or “CIT”). Ideal candidates have the right mix of high emotional intelligence, hustle and growth mindset. Our leadership team will expose successful candidates to all areas of the business, including sales & partnerships, marketing, and client success each trimester over the course of the year. Our CITs will work directly alongside our executive and leadership team and tap into their strengths, sharpen their expertise and learn how to drive strategy at the executive level across world-class client brands. Top performers will be considered for leadership roles internally or at our partner companies.

You will learn:
Sales and Partnerships / Marketing / Growth Consulting / Operations

CEOs are always selling, and so you will start out by learning how to do outreach, negotiate contracts, and close deals.  This part of the program is 90% hustle.  Winning in this section will provide you with not only personal satisfaction but also substantial bonuses that are tied to your results.

In addition you will be involved in channel partnership sales.  Leveraging what you have learned about the company and its value proposition, you will be introduced to partners where you can build relationships, network and further grow your negotiation skills.

After four months, you will begin working with the marketing team, to learn how to synthesize our message to our ideal customer profile, design go to market strategies and plan (and attend!) events for customer prospects.

In the final trimester, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our consultants, to help our clients shape their strategy and leverage optimizations in people, process and technology to grow their businesses.  Being exposed to the meaningful change we implement at our client brands provides the final component to becoming a successful insights oriented leader.

Candidates must be highly motivated, extremely focused and work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment. This role reports directly to the Executive Leadership Team at Mammoth Growth.

What You’ll Do:

  • Shadow our CEO on outreach with external partners based on pursuing leads, setting up/creating opportunities, building relationships, and facilitating co-marketing/co-selling opportunities
  • Contribute to data gathering, list generation, automation, and other efficiencies in company’s CRM and cross-reference platforms and operations 
  • Gain insight into some of the major issues affecting CEO decision making in today’s marketplace
  • Research how AI can enhance the organization and recommend plans for implementation
  • Learn how to build out and activate Crossbeam with target partners so as to create a feedback loop with our CRM campaigns 
  • Broaden your skills, deepen your network and help solve complex business challenges by identifying prospects and presenting the Mammoth Growth brand
  • Learn how to plan, meet and exceed weekly and monthly planned metrics and goals
  • Learn how complete reporting and data gathering as required

What You’ll Need:

  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a deep desire to drive strategy and innovation
  • 2+ years experience in a consulting, sales, partnership management, data engineering or other technical role 
  • Hustle.  Don’t do it tomorrow if it can be done today
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage simultaneous work streams
  • Previous experience in Growth or Martech is preferred: CDP, Lifecycle Marketing, Data Warehouse Management, etc.  If you have other areas of excellence that apply, let us know and why it matters
  • Experience in a modern data stack is useful (knowledge of SQL, Snowflake/Databricks, dBT, Tableau/Looker, etc.).  However, if you can read a manual and learn something fast that’s fine too.
  • Experience presenting to clients or other decision makers to present and sell ideas to various audiences is useful (technical and non-technical)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to tailor messages to audiences ranging from C-suite to specialist level spanning both technical and non-technical functional areas
  • Strong self-confidence with no reluctance to make a cold-call or introduce yourself to anyone
  • Self-directed and self-motivated to operate with minimal oversight to produce consistently high-value work.  We will show you what to do, but we expect you to get it done
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.  This means no typos and never be late to a meeting (2 minutes early is preferred)
