As a campaigner, you will be at the forefront of monitoring world events, developing strategies, and crafting influential campaigns that resonate with our global audience of concerned pro-life and pro-family citizens. Your primary responsibilities will be to write and edit powerful petitions, manage our online presence, and establish key contacts with influencers, journalists, and activists. Your strategic vision, creativity, and exceptional communication skills will be crucial to orchestrating impactful campaigns and amplifying our advocacy efforts.

Responsibilities


  • You will draft, proofread, and edit campaign emails and marketing communications.
  • You will monitor world and local events and identify opportunities for strong campaigns.
  • You will look for sources for campaigns -- finding relevant, issue-specific, supporting materials from the press, NGOs, etc.
  • You will propose campaign actions, from ad buys to public petition deliveries, assisting the director with the organization and logistics.
  • You will establish connections with influencers, journalists, and activists on social media to enhance the reach of our campaigns.
  • You will take English CitizenGO’s campaigns and turn them into sharp and compelling specific-language campaigns, translating/editing all relevant materials and working on the CitizenGO backend interface to create web pages and emails in the specific language. 
  • You will build coalitions with like-minded organizations to boost the contentious politics and mobilization’s CitizenGO model.
  • You will review, manage, and support the petitions published by members on the CitizenGO Petitions website.


Requirements


  • Passion and commitment to human dignity, life, family, liberty, citizen empowerment, and social change.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Needs to be able to write concisely and informally in an emotional and active voice.
  • Good strategic, creative, and innovative thinking. Ability to analyze socio-political scenarios, develop complex ideas, and communicate them.
  • Understanding of how civic advocacy, citizen mobilization, and grassroots campaigning function.
  • Enthusiasm for and broad experience with software tools and proven expertise in quickly learning new ones.
  • Aiming at proactivity, taking the initiative to get the job done, and enriching with valuable projects and proposals to the entire organization.
  • User-level solid computer skills. Google Workspace experience preferred. Proficiency in Marketo and Asana is an asset.
  • This job will suit someone with a flexible schedule who can work on tight deadlines. Being available for evening and weekend work and occasional travel as needed.
  • Fluency in English is a requirement. Duolingo English Test is required for all non-natives with a minimum score of 100 (B2 equivalent). Spanish and other additional languages are an asset.
  • Previous experience in copywriting and producing marketing content is an asset. 
  • Proficiency in using AI to generate emails, communications, and other written materials is an asset. 
  • Based in Belgium.
  • Flemish Native Speaker.
