Developing new lines of communication with potential customers, you will be responsible for introducing our company and its service offerings, focusing on those differentiators that make Divurgent special.

The Senior Director, Business Development (Sales Hunter) is responsible for identifying, researching, and contacting potential clients for Divurgent. The Senior Director, Business Development (Sales Hunter) is responsible for successfully consulting with healthcare clients in the development of strategic improvement plans by presenting Divurgent healthcare IT services in a specified geographic market. Service offerings include, but are not limited to, healthcare consulting and advisory solutions, healthcare IT staff augmentation and training/go live services.

The Senior Director, Business Development (Sales Hunter) coordinates with the SVP of Client Service to ensure quality solutions and services are provided. This role will be both strategic and tactical, delivering mutually positive results for the client and Divurgent. Travel is required for prospective and existing clients to identify needs, educate, and close new business. This role is an exempt position and will report to the SVP of Client Service.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Responsible for achieving or exceeding defined sales quota on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Responsible for new business development and expanding existing contracts with a target quota of $4M, a minimum quota of $2.5M and additional revenue impact via broader team selling.
  • Responsible for the execution of the entire client development cycle
  • Responsible for selling Divurgent’s Healthcare IT solutions and services in a specified geographic market
  • Build and maintain positive, long-lasting relationships with current and potential clients
  • Develop territory strategy, prioritize work efforts and accomplish defined sales goals
  • Identify and properly qualify mutually beneficial business opportunities
  • Create and give presentations to prospective executive-level clients and prepare formal proposals
  • Lead negotiations, coordinate complex decision-making processes and overcome objections to closure
  • Maintain strong knowledge of healthcare technology initiatives and provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to stakeholders in a timely and consistent manner
  • Apply company processes and procedures to ensure quality, including pre-employment screening of candidates
  • Manage client expectations and maintain service levels
  • Travel to client/potential client sites throughout the designated geographic market and attend industry conferences

Require Education And Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field; or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience
  • 3-5 years of selling and/or account management experience required (healthcare or healthcare information technology field preferred)
  • Must be Vaccinated and Boosted
