Position Overview

Looking to take your sales skills to the next level? Moreland University, a renowned Teacher Education brand within Colibri Group, is seeking a dynamic Admissions Sales Representative to be the first point of contact for potential students. In this direct sales role, you'll use your excellent communication and persuasion skills to provide accurate information, identify the best program fit, and help guide students through the enrollment process to achieve their career goals in teacher licensure. What You'll Do
  • Lead and Applicant Management
  • Actively communicate and engage with potential candidates via Zoom, email, phone, and text to move and nurture them through the enrollment cycle
  • Successfully manage a database of leads and nurture and convert leads into fully enrolled candidates
  • Meet ALL admissions team weekly and monthly sales goals
  • Work closely with Director of Admissions in coordinating recruitment efforts
  • Establish rapport and build relationships with prospective candidates by understanding a prospect’s background, motivation, and goals and actively sell these candidates on the value of Moreland
  • Provide engaging and accurate information about Moreland University’s value proposition to prospective candidates
  • Communication
  • Communicate in culturally sensitive ways with applicants from all over the world, as well as various academic, professional, and cultural backgrounds
  • Set regular appointments with qualified leads for program discussion and application submission, followed by enrollment
  • Provide accurate and timely information as required to your supervisor
  • Product Knowledge
  • Develop a strong knowledge of the Moreland University product portfolio in order to facilitate the sales process
  • Understand how our products meet a prospect’s needs for a recognized teaching qualification (license/credential) and/or Master’s in Education (M.Ed.)

  • What You'll Need To Succeed
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Located in metro DC is preferred but not required
  • Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in inside sales, admissions sales, customer services, higher education, or related role
  • Inside sales experience and knowledge, along with a proven track record of being hungry to hit sales targets
  • Articulate and friendly speaker and writer to communicate with prospective candidates on the phone, online, and via email
  • High quality use of written communications relevant to grammar, conventions, logical flow, and word choice
