Role Senior Software Engineer

Location Remote Mexico

Summarized Purpose

At the Tijuana IT Center of Excellence, you will be part of a SCRUM team. Provide software solutions for multiple Business Partners of our Digital Marketing division.

Essential Functions

Plan and complete software features for new and existing products.
Work closely with Product Managers, Product Owner, Scrum Master and Architects to design, develop, unit test, debug and
maintain our Digital Marketing applications, services, and infrastructures.
Use your skills to develop software, applications and infrastructure that support code and modern technologies
integration.
Follows the best coding and quality standards and customers trust our applications.
You will also have the opportunity to share your knowledge with a group of over 160 Software Engineers of all backgrounds. And you will be exposed to the science and technology that is helping us achieve our company's mission.

Requisitos

Qualifications

Education and Experience needed

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent Engineering disciplines.
5+ Years of strong and robust Web Application development using Java & J2EE and Web Technologies.
experience with code automated testing.
Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Backend

3+ Years of experience with frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, JPA.
Micro services development, build and deployment experience with CI/CD build pipelines.
Database experience like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, DynamoDB.
NodeJS applications.

Frontend

5+ Years of experience working with Web 2.0 technologies OO Javascript, AJAX, JS Libraries (Angular, React, jQuery, etc).
Experience of UI/UX development CSS, LESS, SCSS, Bootstrap.
Understanding of cross-browser compatibility.

Testing Skills

Java Unit Testing and Mocks frameworks (JUnit, TestNG, Mockito, PowerMock).

Additional Skills

Cloud-based applications leveraging AWS.
Digital Marketing Adobe technologies like Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.0+) and Adobe Target.
Good understanding of CI/CD and DevOps is a plus.
