Your Role
As a Customer Engineer, you'll play a vital role in supporting our customers throughout their Soda experience, from initial evaluation to successful implementation and beyond. You'll work closely with our seasoned account executives and senior team members to ensure our customers receive exceptional support and guidance every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support:
- Collaborate with the sales team to convey Soda's value proposition and vision to potential customers.
- Continuously expand your technical knowledge to better assist customers and address their needs effectively.
- Deliver engaging product presentations to both new and existing clients.
- Act as a liaison between customers and our product team to communicate feature requests and feedback.
- Assist customers with product onboarding and troubleshooting, providing innovative solutions to technical challenges.
Customer Success:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, guiding them through the Soda journey.
- Provide ongoing support and advisory services to address customer inquiries and concerns.
- Work closely with our product and engineering teams to resolve support tickets and gather valuable feedback for product improvement.
- Help organize and participate in quarterly business reviews (QBRs), aligning with customers on their objectives and success metrics.
Training and Development:

In your first 30 days, you'll immerse yourself in Soda's approach to data quality, learning about our features and technical use cases. By day 60, you'll be running standard demos independently and confidently explaining Soda's blueprint to prospects. And within your first 90 days, you'll take the lead on managing proof of concepts and actively contributing to product and engineering feedback.
