Your Mission:
You are a Machine learning Engineer in our Data Team. You foster collaboration with data platform engineering and product development, aligning the technical integration of Data Science products, and provide consultancy and support to Data Scientists for constructing production-ready machine learning models.

Here's how you'll make an impact:

  • You ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of our Data Science software in AWS, following software engineering best practices.
  • You handle the technical conception and development of Data Science products, incorporating machine learning and software development standards, staying current with trends, and addressing security and threat protection.
  • You implement and optimize MLOps/DevOps approaches, including CI/CD and automated testing, for fast provision and continual enhancement of machine learning models in production.
  • You develop and maintain monitoring and alarm systems, ensuring efficient performance and timely issue identification for machine learning
    models.


Your Qualification:

  • You possess a degree (or equivalent) in mathematics, a technical field, or a related discipline with relevant professional experience of at least 5 years.
  • You demonstrate profound knowledge of agile software engineering and machine learning.
  • From your experience, you understand the challenges in providing Data Science products and the pros and cons of various microservice architecture designs.
  • You have experience in programming languages, especially Python and SQL (Java, C++ are nice to have), and proficiency in machine learning libraries/frameworks like scikit-learn, Keras, Tensorflow, etc.
  • You are confident with software development and monitoring tools, including Git, Docker, Prometheus, Grafana, and MLOps tools like dagster/airflow and MLflow, implememting APIs
  • You showcase expertise in cloud environments, particularly AWS, with a solid understanding of cloud services, proficiency in Cloud CLI, and comfort with IaaC via Terraform. Additionally, you enhance operational efficiency for Data Science products in the cloud, focusing on cost reduction and performance optimization.
