The Associate Director, Market Access will play a critical role in supporting the Market Access team by providing detailed analysis on a variety of operational needs combined with ongoing support and data driven insights that will help identify and fuel the growth of ADMA Biologics by assisting in shaping key market access strategies and tactics.

Qualifications

This position will report directly to the Senior Director, Market Access and Reimbursement and will provide detailed analysis and reporting of data from a variety of both internal and external sources to help drive market access insights and support key Market Access initiatives. The Market Access Manager / Associate Director will have a deep understanding of Government Pricing functions, such as AMP, ASP, NON-FAMP, 340B and URA as well as a keen understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial payors, and reimbursement methodologies. The Market Access Manager / Associate Director will collaborate closely with Finance, National Accounts, Field Reimbursement Team, Government Pricing team, Medical Affairs, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Sales Leadership, HEOR and external consulting teams on a variety of initiatives and projects. The Market Access Manager / Associate Director will be an experienced, inquisitive, and proactive business analytics expert that has extensive experience in modeling and analytics with an eye for details.

  • The Associate Director, Market Access will work collaboratively with Finance to ensure all underlying data is accurate and accounted for use in the following Government Pricing (GP) needs: Average Manufacturer Price (AMP), Best Price (BP), Average Sales Price (ASP), non-Federal Average Manufacturer Price (nFAMP), Federal Ceiling Price (FCP), Industrial Funding Fee (IFF), 340B, and Unit Rebate Amounts (URA).
  • Develop and implement data-driven insights and analytics from multiple data sources to support market access activities and opportunities, including payer engagements, formulary placements, and reimbursement strategies.
  • Assess and determine all State Pricing Transparency Reporting is up to date and accurate.
  • Conduct payer research, develop pricing strategies, build payer value stories, and creating tools and materials used by the Market Access field team in their interactions with payers.
  • Assist the Senior Director in developing and executing optimized pricing and contracting analysis and strategies, monitor impact to reimbursement, and identify and address relevant concerns.
  • Will help develop educational resources on reimbursement and financial assistance to support providers and patients for Advantage Ig Patient Support Program.
  • Manage class of trade hierarchy and ensure that all new accounts are identified and mapped to the correct designation by the GP calculations team.
  • Assist in analyzing GP calculation results and identify the source of variances that may be identified and addressed.
  • Oversee the development and preparation of regular reports, dashboards, and KPIs related to portfolio performance, market access insights, and reimbursement trends.
  • Works effectively with cross-functional commercial partners to maintain strategic alignment, producing high quality deliverables, and achieve performance objectives.
  • Attend regional or national professional society and payer meetings/conferences as needed to provide gain and provide insights to the ADMA team.
  • Keep abreast of professional information and technology through conferences and/or medical literature and acts as a policy resource.
  • Attend all internal team meetings as appropriate.
  • Supply competitive intelligence (communication with experts, review of literature, etc.)

 

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required (Preference in Business or Science)
  • MS/MBA preferred

 

Additional Experience Information:

  • 5+ Years in Rare Disease preferred.
  • 5+ years IG experience preferred.
  • 8+ Years sales, sales operations or business development experience preferred
  • 10+ Years previous Market Access experience and detailed knowledge of the US Healthcare Payor, reimbursement and regulatory landscape required.
  • Must possess deep understanding of Government Pricing and functions, such as AMP, ASP, NON-FAMP, 340B and URA as well as a keen understanding of Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial payors and payment methodologies.
  • Must possess a strong Market Access knowledge base, and a deep understanding of payor contracts, pull through for contract growth and pricing dynamics across all segments of the market including Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial Payors, Integrated Delivery Networks (IDN’s), Healthcare Systems and GPO’s,
  • Experience and understands of Sites of Care that leverage both the buy and bill medical and pharmacy benefits.
  • Must possess extremely strong analytical skills and ability to tie complex analysis to inform executive-level strategic decisions.
