Responsibilities:
Perform nursing patient care duties according to established policies and procedures.
Plan, provide, and evaluate holistic nursing care using the nursing process and primary nursing principles.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and departments to ensure continuity of care.
Monitor patient vital signs, assess their condition, and document observations accurately.
Administer medications as prescribed and perform essential clinical procedures.
Educate and counsel patients and their families about their health conditions and treatment plans.
Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of your patients.
Participate in educational activities and stay up-to-date on the latest nursing practices.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Nursing (preferred Bachelor's)
Valid RN license in the state of Georgia or multi-state compact RN license
Minimum of 6 months of experience as an RN in a direct patient care setting (unless entering the nurse residency program)
Basic Life Support
ACLS preferred within 6 months of hire
Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassion and empathy for patients and their families
