Sr. Web Developer

Overview:

Amyx is seeking to hire a web Developer Responsible for the development of high-end client server-based applications, designing and developing web pages, and porting applications to a web interface. 

• Experience as an application programmer on large-scale DBMS, knowledge of computer equipment, and ability to develop complex software to satisfy design objectives.
• Analyzesfunctional business applications and design specifications for functional areas such as finance, accounting,personnel, manpower, logistics, and contracts.
• Develops block diagrams and logic flowcharts. Translates detailed design into computer software. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and refines the computer software to produce the required product.
• Prepares required documentation, including both program-level and userlevel documentation.
• Enhances software to reduce operating time and improve efficiency. Provides technical direction to programmers, as required, to ensure that program deadlines are met.
• Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.

Required

•Requires extremely strong customer relation skills

•Must be able to work independently with no supervision.

•Must be able to utilize HTML, XML, PERL, and/or Apache. Interfaces with clients to determine requirements. 

•Experience with FrontPage, DreamWeaver or related applications.

•MS degree in Computer Science or a related field with 5 years of experience in scripting, software development, web page design and development, including fiveyears of hands-on software development/web-page development experience.

•Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency
Check and Credit Check (NACLC) at time of proposal submission.
• Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
• DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level I

Desired:

• Knowledge of the EPST application database process is preferred.
• Gurobi Software experience is preferred.
