Inside Sales Representative
As part of our inside sales team, you'll engage with both new and existing J. J. Keller customers over the phone, using an outbound calling strategy. Through proactive prospecting and discovery conversations, our goal is to identify compliance concerns, safety and regulatory issues, and broader business challenges that we can address. As an industry leader, we provide Safety Forms & Supplies, Digital & Printed Compliance Publications, Training Resources, Consulting, Outsourced Services, and Mobile, Cloud & Online Safety Management Tools.

Where you'll be working
If you're based near our corporate office in Wisconsin, you can choose to work either in the office or from home. For associates located outside of our local area, this role will be entirely remote, performed from your dedicated home office within the U.S. It's essential to maintain a private work environment without distractions during your workday. J. J. Keller will supply the necessary computer equipment for you to fulfill your role.
Qualifications
- Sales Experience:
- We're looking for candidates with at least 2 years of sales experience. Ideally, this experience includes phone-based sales in a B2B (business-to-business) environment.
- Effective Communication:
- Dynamic Phone Presence: Your ability to engage with customers over the phone is crucial. We value a dynamic and confident phone presence that captures attention and builds rapport.
- Complex Solutions: You'll be presenting solutions that may be intricate or multifaceted. Demonstrating clarity and confidence while explaining these solutions is essential.
- Education:
- High School Degree or Equivalent: This is a minimum requirement. If you have a Bachelor's degree, that's even better! We appreciate candidates who are committed to continuous learning and growth.
Associates of J. J. Keller receive
- Earnings: Expect an average first-year earning range of $53,000 to $70,000. This includes a base hourly pay plus uncapped monthly incentive bonus program.
- Work/Life Balance: Enjoy a strict 40-hour workweek, Monday through Friday - no late nights or weekends. Your personal time is respected, allowing you to maintain a healthy balance between work and life.
- Paid Time Off: You'll have 17 days of Paid Time Off, plus 9 Paid Holidays, giving you the time and flexibility to recharge.

J. J. Keller provides a competitive benefit package which includes the following (eligibility requirements apply): Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, 401(k) and Profit Sharing Plan, etc. The compensation range for this role is $22.00 to $24.00 which varies depending on factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s overall experience and geographic location. Note that J. J. Keller is not currently recruiting employees to work in California.
