Position Summary:
Focused primarily on the Automotive vertical, the Account Executive is responsible for developing and managing client relationships (owners, management company leaders, industry association contacts) through a consultative and targeted selling approach and will own driving the execution of the sales process. Primary responsibilities include cold calling, prospecting, new account acquisition, site plan design, project management assistant, account management, upgrade/cross-selling, and exceptional customer service.
Reporting to the District Sales Manager, the Account Executive is a self-starter and strategically partners with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Sales Operations, Monitoring, Customer Service, Accounting, and Legal to ensure the best in industry customer experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Drive sales initiatives to generate sales opportunities in the designated territories:
- Contact, qualify, and uncover business needs with prospects
- Generate proposals, present in person and nurture to a closed deal
- Analyze and segment target markets & verticals for sales opportunities in assigned region
- Pursue self-generated appointments and those set by our Inside Sales Department
- Maintain current activities and pipeline in Salesforce.com CRM consistently
2. Generate leads, present solutions, design systems, and negotiate contracts:
- Work with our Inside Sales Department team and provide engineering support to identify and methodically work targets
- Perform demos in person and virtually when applicable to create efficient sales process
- Drive referral leads from current customer base in partnership with Customer Success
- Work independently but collaborate with senior executives on presentations and negotiations when necessary
- Achieve performance-based revenue and activity objective
3. Participate in sales strategy development:
- Identify, research, evaluate and recommend best practices in support of market expansion for the Company’s service offerings
- Participate in content creation and thought leadership for various placements
- Partner with our Marketing Team to assist with the development and execution of various marketing efforts in your assigned region
4. Maintain and support Customer Success team to establish and foster long lasting and trustworthy customer relationships in your market
5. Perform other duties as assigned to you by management
6. Participate in company meetings and partner with members from other departments to support the development and execution of Sales initiatives.
Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in B2B sales
- Experience selling in to the automotive market
- Proven track record of generating revenue opportunities and closing new business in consultative sales roles
- Experience preparing and negotiating contracts
- University or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Experience using CRM tools to manage sales pipeline, forecasting, and reporting
- Ability to forge and maintain strong business relationships
- Demonstrated analytical and computer skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and creative, problem-solving approach

Compensation$75,000 - $80,000 base salary + commission and bonus
