Visionary Integration Professionals (VIP) is looking for a key member to join the VIP executive team and ensure the company delivers on financial and business commitments. The position is responsible for directing all aspects of accounting, financial, and HR operations, including the preparation of monthly financial statements and annual financial forecasts. The position will report to the CEO.


Essential Job Duties and Functions:

  1. Direct all staff supporting financial operations and HR functions – including but not limited to, general ledger accounting and reconciliations, client invoicing, vendor invoicing and payments, payroll, time and expense reporting, HR compliance and reporting, benefits administration, out-sourced tax return preparation, and 1099 preparation.
  2. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financials, including internal and external monthly financial statements, as well as annual audited financial statements.
  3. Prepare monthly consolidated income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
  4. Perform daily cash management duties and maintain monthly cash forecasts.
  5. Prepare five-year financial forecasts (income statement, balance sheet, statement of cashflows),
  6. Lead annual financial audit.
  7. Ensure appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained.
  8. Interact across functional areas with senior management to ensure business unit objectives are met.
  9. Provide timely and insightful analysis of company performance, identifying business risks and recommending actions.
  10. Be a valued business partner participating in continuous improvement processes and performing financial analysis as needed to support decisions and drive value to the business.
  11. Provide back-up support for contract administration.
  12. Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
  • At least 15 years of relevant progressive accounting experience, with at least five years in an operational accounting management role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all accounting functions and systems.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with US GAAP accounting.
  • Excellent leadership, strategic planning, and team building skills.
  • Dynamic, innovative, and problem resolution focused.
  • Effective project management capabilities – ability to plan, initiate, monitor & implement projects within a team.
  • Ability to effectively manage a remote/multi-location organization and adapt to different cultures.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (including vlookups, pivot tables, and complex forecast models).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interact with various levels of management.
  • Ability to identify and execute operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives to improve resource optimization.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a service-based organization and an understanding/working knowledge of the applicable revenue recognition accounting standards.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains accounting application.
  • Experience with the Unanet project and resource management application.
  • SQL database and query experience.
  • CPA


The compensation for this position is $125,000 to $175,000 per year depending on experience and qualifications. Employees are also eligible for performance-based bonus/ to participate in a performance-based incentive plan.
