About Our Client

Our Client is a financial and business consultancy firm offering accounting and auditing services, tax services, and business advisory to companies in Malta, forming part of a worldwide association of independent accounting firms and business advisors. As part of their ongoing development and expansion, our Client is looking to recruit a Tax Assistant to join the team. The selected candidate will gain invaluable experience within this growing organisation.

Role and Responsibilities

• Tax Compliance: Assist in the Tax Compliance function on jobs relating to tax computations, income tax returns, and other related tax work.
• Tax Advisory: Assist the Tax Advisory function as required.
• Internal Collaboration: Assist and work with other internal teams.
• Material Development: Assist with presentations, newsletters, and other material for distribution.

Requirements

• Qualification Pursuit: Interested in pursuing or currently in the initial stages of the ACCA Qualification.
• Interest in Tax: Interest and aptitude for tax matters.
• Additional Courses: Interested in pursuing the MIT Course on Tax Compliance or related courses.
• Experience: No relevant experience is required.
• Attitude: A positive attitude and an efficient team player.
• Attributes: Responsible, motivated, and have an eye for detail.
