We support our customers in making buildings more climate-friendly, more comfortable and more affordable with connected real estate, simple products and high processing and service quality. We provide our customers with efficient, tailored processes and applications for operating IoT infrastructures in real estate, as well as our flexible Enterprise-IoT-Suite, in which we manage data from many millions of sensors into intelligent products and services.

Your mission

Together with other Software Developers, a Product Owner and our Customer Service staff you will build and improve our Zendesk-based solution and processes. Your work will enable our agents to deliver high-quality service to our B2B and B2C customers.

In addition, the following tasks will be part of your position:

You will become a member of one of our engineering teams, building products of the
Beyonnex ecosystem
You will be involved in every part of the software engineering process and in the lifecycle of the services that your team is building - requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, operations and improving software based on user feedback and usage metrics
You will work closely with the customer support agents and our product experts, conceiving, refining and delivering new ideasÂ

What we need from you

We are searching for a motivated candidate with following qualifications:

Good knowledge of a web-development stack, frontend and backend
- including a frontend framework and TypeScript
- knowledge of or willingness to learn a JVM-based stack for the backend
Professional experience working as a software developer, or a completed apprenticeship/degree in a related field
Practical experience working in agile development teams
German language skills, C1 or better
English language skills, B2 or better
Curiosity and the ability to learn fast
Motivation to iteratively develop processes in our organization
Problem-solving mindset

Experience with Zendesk as a software developer or as a user
Bachelor or Master in Computer Science or related fields
Experience following a Test-Driven Development (TDD) approach
Experience working with microservices-based architectures and Cloud Service Providers (preferably AWS)
