We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer with strong technical and communication skills to contribute throughout the development lifecycle of products in various exciting domains, which are realized with Commencis’ expertise in a fast-paced team environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesReviewing test basis (stories, FSD, design docs, etc.) and give feedback about whether they are testable or notCreating and designing efficient test cases to provide good coverage (for both manual and automated testing)Executing manual & automated tests for Web apps and APIsPerforming required activities to apply test process (test planning, design, execution, monitoring and reporting)Providing feedback to software engineering and other teams and enforce that business requirements are being met in the productTaking a supportive role on continuous integration, continuous testing and release managementTaking an active role in all aspects of quality within the projectMinimum 4 years of experience in software testing.BSc or MSc in Software/Computer Engineering or related fields.Experience with web / native mobile UI automation testing tools and experience in taking product definitions (use cases/stories, requirements, etc) and turning them into test casesExperience with frameworks and tools like Protractor / Cypress / Selenium, Appium, Cucumber. Strong familiarity with Agile Software Development Approach, Java/other OO languagesExperience with cloud environments such as AWS / Azure.Experience with databases such as MySQL / MS SQL Server / Cosmos / MongoDB, etc. Familiarity with DB queries is mandatory.Strong quality mindset, great team spirit and being detail orientedAccurate sense of analysis and synthesis to define root causes and possible solutionsFluent English in both verbal and written communicationExperience in continuous integration tools (such as Jenkins) is a plusBeing ISTQB certified is a plusWhy Commencis?
