SPA’s Sea Land Air (SLA) Division supports a diverse portfolio of national security government clients, including the Undersea Enterprise, the Navy Surface Community, the Navy MPTE Enterprise, the Air Force, Army, DoD Agencies, DARPA, international clients including the Canadian Navy and Australian Defence Force.  Our primary objective is to provide timely, objective and analytic assessments that integrate the policy, operational, technical, programmatic and acquisition aspects of our clients’ challenges.

 

Leveraging both in-domain and cross-domain expertise to maximize our clients’ success, SLA Division acts as trusted agents to senior decision-makers and key leaders and excels at providing data driven analytic insights, systems engineering, strategies and plans that address current and emerging challenges to national security.

 

The Integrated Warfare Systems Group's (IWSG) focus is to provide engineering, technical and programmatic support to the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems, Above Water Sensors and Lasers (PEO IWS 2.0) Directorate. Efforts include overarching program management, test and evaluation, systems engineering, systems integration, international, cyber security, IT network and programmatic support for over 25 PEO IWS 2.0 advanced radar, phased array radar, electronic warfare, electro-optic, decoy and directed energy programs. 

 

IWSG staff support a variety of tasks including: support and completion of major technical reviews; producing required acquisition documentation; meeting critical program milestone deadlines; managing program needs and external requirements, and ensuring the right resources are provided to the right priorities at the right time.

 

Responsibilities:

You will serve as a highly qualified adviser providing direct support to the Spectrum Program Manager within the Naval Systems Engineering & Logistics Directorate's (SEA 05) Integrated Warfare Systems Engineering (SEA 05H) office. SEA 05 is responsible for providing the engineering and scientific expertise, knowledge, and technical authority necessary to design, build, maintain, repair, modernize, certify, and dispose of the Navy's ships, submarines, and associated warfare systems.

 

You will be empowered to lead and act on behalf of the Program Manager ensuring the appropriate Sprectrum and Systems Engineering processes and discipline is applied across multiple stakeholders. You will join a high performing Government and contractor team regularly working with stakeholders from industry, the PEO, Warfare Centers, Navy Labs and University Affiliated Research Centers on complex issues facing the Spectrum Relocation Fund (SRF). You may be expected to work on other radar development and integration tasks, such as providing support to the Navy's Future X-Band Radar program. 

 

Full-time or part-time work is allowed. Remote work is allowed in this position, however you must have the ability to occasionally travel to Washington, D.C.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  Washington, DC Pay Transparency Range:  $160,000 - $190,000.
