Job description

Overview:
The React Developer plays a crucial role in creating and implementing user interface components using React concepts and workflows. This role is essential in developing high-quality web applications by collaborating with the design and backend teams and ensuring the responsiveness of applications.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop new user-facing features using React.js
  • Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
  • Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
  • Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
  • Work closely with the design and product teams to create an interactive, dynamic and responsive user interfaces
  • Implement modern and effective React workflows
  • Write and maintain clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
  • Integrate front-end applications with the RESTful API back-end
  • Identify and correct performance bottlenecks and fix bugs
  • Maintain code integrity and organization
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback
  • Participate in the Agile processes and meetings
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders
  • Contribute to architectural decision-making
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Proven work experience as a React Developer
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
  • Experience with popular React.js workflows such as Flux or Redux
  • Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
  • Experience with data structure libraries
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs
  • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms
  • Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
  • Experience with version control using Git
  • Understanding of server-side rendering and its benefits
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
  • Experience with responsive design implementation
  • Strong understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
