What you will be doing:
The Pre-Sales Senior Actuary is a highly motivated individual with proven credentials who can successfully work with all levels of the organization internally and externally to ensure success. The Pre-Sales Senior Actuary will be based in North America and will be reporting to the Insurance and Asset Management head of Business Solutions Americas. Due to the nature of the role, extensive travel will be required.
Deliver sales presentations and solution demonstrations, and provide coverage at annual actuarial events and client events, in all cases positioning FIS’ software and actuarial libraries
Provide technical expertise in the sales process in collaboration with sales team
Identify and qualify clients’ business and functional requirements in order to obtain initial project estimates, identify and document solution gaps after gathering clients’ requirements, and communicate client requirements, trends and issues back to product management
Build out actuarial models based on specific needs of the client
Respond to Requests for Information (RFI’s), Requests for Proposal (RFP’s) and other client queries in a timely and professional manner
Develop new business opportunities across FIS segments, join other business units for comprehensive demonstrations and interface with the product management, professional services, support and development organizations
As a life insurance market expert, be aware of industry trends, drivers and regulatory initiatives; understand the competitive offerings and their differentiators in the market, read trade and industry journals to keep abreast of industry thoughts and initiatives.
Provide life insurance expertise and resolve specific product issues.
What you will need:
Actuarial Qualifications – FSA
Substantial life insurance market experience
Expertise in actuarial modelling and reporting
Experience in client facing activities
Good grasp of technology and technical concepts
Analytical and consultative approach to client engagements
Equally comfortable working independently or as part of a team
Ability to organize, prioritize, and multi-task
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English
Outstanding presentation abilities

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $136,600.00 - $225,400.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
