THE ROLE

As a full-time Salesforce Marketing Cloud Expert, you will be responsible for optimizing the platform and providing technical expertise to scale digital solutions, email marketing campaigns, and data integration. You’ll be working with the Salesforce development team and also you must work closely with the IT, sales, and marketing teams to ensure that the platform is leveraged to its optimal capabilities.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Present interval executive-level Salesforce platform demonstrations, and run through all features (i.e. content builder, journey builder, etc.) upon request.
  • Set up and configure data models.
  • Develop scalable solutions based on business objectives, marketing metrics, and tech requirements.
  • Design platform configuration and data feeds to run effective automated email campaigns.
  • Act as a hands-on consultant on wide-scale projects including email marketing campaigns, customer service solutions, data segmentation, customer journey, and such.
  • Identify and troubleshoot platform and data feed-related issues.
  • Advise teams regarding the latest tech innovations, new business initiatives, third-party solutions, and effective email templates.
  • Optimize internal processes based on team requests, opportunity gaps, and business requirements.
  • Communicate project initiatives to relevant stakeholders.

  • SQL & SOQL
  • Good understanding of Salesforce’s security model
  • Data segmentation, optimization, and management
  • Scripting and query (specially Javascript)
  • Web analytics
  • Project management
  • Basic knowledge in HTML, CSS
  • Knowledge in AMPscript is a bonus
  • Multi-channel subscriber management
  • Digital marketing knowledge
  • Experience in Pardot will be an added advantage


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience working with Marketing Cloud platforms
  • Salesforce certifications (PD1, Marketing Cloud)
  • Technical educational background in a related field (Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree, etc.)
  • Extensive knowledge of database marketing
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
