The Associate, Content Development will be an integral part of the Pre-Certification Education team, working to develop, revise, and record course content for the PEP module and CFE Prep courses, providing guidance to CPA students, and managing the university case pool.
The salary range for Associate, Pre-Certification Content Development is competitive and will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience. The starting range typically falls between $80,000 and $85,000 CAD annually, with potential for an annual discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance. The final offer will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's skills, education, relevant work experience, and location. Supervisory Responsibilities:
- The Associate, Content Development will delegate administrative tasks related to the university case pool to the Administrator and oversee the completion of those tasks.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Author PEP Core and Elective, and CFE Day 1, Day 2 and Day 3 cases.
- Edit cases used in our pre-certification courses (Core, Elective, and CFE), including sample response writing.
- Be the CFE Day 1 subject matter expert, including authoring Day 1 cases, building course content and recording webinars and sessions related to CFE Day 1.
- Build case walkthroughs using PowerPoint or similar platform.
- Record online sessions for PEP courses and CFE Prep.
- Respond to PEP and CFE student queries as appropriate through phone, email, and forum postings, which includes some weekend and evening coverage.
- Analyze performance analysis reports for unsuccessful CFE writers.
- Assist with new marker training and CFE Prep marking as required.
- Manage case pool for universities, including updating cases and assembly as requested.
- Manage webinar setup and postings.
- Develop and manage pre-certification blog, including content creation and editing.
- Manage onsite course administration (registration, material management, answer student questions) as required.
- Participate in monthly online team meetings.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.

- Knowledge of Articulate Rise and Storyline, or iSpring is beneficial, but not required.
- Ability to portray a cooperative, professional, and positive attitude towards customers, managers, and other co-workers.
Education and Experience:
- Canadian CPA designation required.
- Attendance at Densmore CFE Prep course preferred.
- Some case authoring experience preferred.
- Some marking or other CPA educational experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
