Job Overview


We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our team at Gig Workplace. As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting services to our clients. This is a full-time position based in Delhi, Delhi, India.


Qualifications and Skills


  • 1-3 years of experience in desktop support or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of desktop operating systems and applications
  • Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Familiarity with network protocols and connectivity
  • Good understanding of security and privacy principles
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST), or equivalent are a plus


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktop/laptop systems, software, and hardware
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop/laptop operating systems and applications
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve technical issues and escalate problems when necessary
  • Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights
  • Create and maintain documentation of technical procedures and solutions
  • Handle the setup and configuration of new hardware and software
  • Ensure security and privacy of desktop systems and data
  • Assist in the implementation of IT projects and system upgrades
  • Stay up to date with the latest technology trends and advancements in the field






Salary

18000 - 22000 INR (Per Year)
