Job description

Our Remote Clinical Assessors are part of our internal Onebright clinical team, and you will be supported to deliver assessments via our purpose-built technology platform and to further develop and refine your clinical assessment skills. Regular supervision, 121’s and 3 days of CPD are offered as part of the role, alongside individual feedback to continuously develop your professional practice.

Key Responsibilities: - Be warm , genuine and empathic to engage individuals in a mental assessment - Deliver the agreed number of assessments which determine the most appropriate evidence based clinical pathway for each individual - Integrate issues surrounding work and employment into the assessment process - Manage risk and safeguarding through the relevant processes and procedures - Manage assessment outcomes in line with referrer guidelines - Use easily understood language which is sensitive to individual needs to gather information and explain next steps - Collect all of the relevant data points agreed - Ensure all clinical records and communications are in line with professional standards - Liaise with other stakeholders from a range of agencies in the care provided to individuals utilising our services - Due to this being a remote working role you will need to ensure all work is undertaken in a confidential space

Professional Requirements: - Accreditation with a mental health professional body (e.g NMC) - Keep up to date on clinical recommendations/guidelines and advances in mental health practice and psychological therapies - Understand the importance of client confidentiality, ensuring this is protected - Participate in service improvement by highlighting issues and implementing changes in practice
