Software Engineering Sr Associate (m/f/d)- Home office possible

 
 

You will be part of our effort to create the next generation of information and workflow solutions for our Diagnostic Imaging portfolio. 
 
 

Your new role: 

  • You design, implement, and test new features based on functional requirements provided by hospitals and other healthcare professionals, ensuring alignment with current system architecture and vision for upcoming changes.

  • You identify and address technical debt and other non-functional requirements to create a maintainable and robust product, while balancing time constraints and business needs.

  • You collaborate with other teams and team-members.

  • Actively participate in SCRUM meetings as a member of the R&D development team

  • Implement features and fix defects based on inputs and requirements provided by the product team

  • Develop automated tests for implemented features, ensuring code stability and compliance with the high quality standards of the medical domain

  • Introduce code changes methodically by applying industry best practices such as pull requests, code reviews and continuous integration

  • Help us innovate the product and enhance established development processes

  • Effectively coordinate and communicate with team members and stakeholders, ensuring the delivery of well-designed and accurate solutions

  • Stay on top of the latest advancements in software and web engineering, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement

  • Embrace and contribute to our open culture of innovation and mutual respect

Your skills:

  • General knowledge of software engineering best practices and programming patterns

  • Experience in creating automated software tests (unit and integration tests)

  • Experience in web development and using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and ideally TypeScript

  • Experience in using modern reactive web frameworks like Angular, React or Vue

  • Proficient in connecting web client applications to web APIs and understanding fundamental underlying protocols

  • Good command of the English language (written and spoken)

  • You bring a hands-on attitude and are interested in learning about new technologies

  • Good analytical skills and team player qualities

  • Independent and target-oriented way of working

The minimum salary for this position is € 45.000,-- gross per year (38.5 working hours) according to the IT-collective agreement in Austria, an overpayment plus bonus arrangement depending on qualification/experience is self-evident for us.
