Your missions

Our partner, a well-known German online platform, is looking for a SAP Solution Architect (m/f/d) to plan the system connection, data migration, and authorization. This is a full-time position in the Dusseldorf metropolitan area, Germany (partial work from home is possible).

Relocation from abroad is possible. We will take care of your visa application and relocation to Germany. Your family members (spouse, children under 18 years old) will get a visa as well.

Your responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with team members to advance as a leading SAP and retail professional
  • Take ownership of preserving the integrity and long-term viability of the global template within the Buying pillar
  • Work alongside various subject-matter experts to create solution blueprints and robust solution architectures for intricate requirements and projects.
  • Foster close cooperation with architects from different departments, ensuring the smooth flow of end-to-end processes.
  • Coordinate external partners throughout the design, development, and testing phases of solutions.

      Required qualifications:

      • Proficient in managing releases and deployments of standardized templates, preferably within a retail context
      • Extensive understanding of functional business processes and the relevant customization options within SAP S/4HANA Retail, particularly in MM, with additional knowledge in SD/FI/QM modules
      • Prior experience in SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC implementation and active involvement in SAP S/4HANA rollout projects
      • Expertise in seamlessly integrating SAP S/4HANA with other systems, employing various integration technologies such as RFC, IDoc, DRFOUT, XML, web services, etc. Additionally, adept at providing best practices for ABAP enhancements and integration techniques
      • Excellent level of expertise and hands-on experience with the SAP Business Technology Platform
      • Willingness to continuously learn and explore new technologies and their potential use cases (e.g. RESTful Application Programming, low-code/no-code technologies)
      • Exceptional communication skills, a solution-focused mindset, and a flexible, agile approach to problem-solving
      • At least a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technologies or a related field
      • Fluent in English, at least C1 level
