Position overview:
If you are a Maintenance, Repairs and Operations (MRO) guru who is on the move for a new gig, look no further than with our Account Executive role! Utilizing your exceptional expertise and knowledge with master data, warehouse, inventory management, and the end-to-end process of MRO, you will be leading the way when it comes to generating new leads and converting them to potential clients of SDI. A typical day in the life of an Account Executive:
- Obtaining the necessary information needed for responding promptly to any customer inquiries, RFQ’s, RFI’s, RFP’s, and any other requests necessary.
- Identifying opportunities for new business within the SDI sales and marketing strategy.
- Collaborating with Marketing to develop strategies and campaigns to increase awareness of SDI.
- Maintaining a solid pipeline of business activity while responding to current potential business opportunities with potential clients.
- Maintaining relationship with clients while communicating activities and much needed information to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Suggesting updates to proposals, presentations, and other sales collateral, keeping SDI in the forefront of providing solutions for customer needs.
The skills you’ll contribute to our diverse team:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in a fast-paced, progressive work environment, preferably in B2B, product, or service sales in an industrial manufacturing environment or similar.
- Superb understanding of MRO, procurement, sourcing, purchasing, and inventory management.
- Tenacious and driven to reach out to new prospects to socialize MRO improvement strategies and close new business.
- Successful track record of new business development with ability to produce tangible results.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Travel Requirements: Up to 75% travel to our client sites.

The pay range for this bonus-eligible role is $100,000 - $130,000 annually. Individual pay depends on various factors, such as role level, relevant experience and skills, and location. Pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the pay range applicable at the time.
