Senior Security Engineer

Intapp is looking for a Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer to join our Cybersecurity team. As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions that align with our business objectives and industry best practices. The Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer will work cross-organization and extensively with the IT, Cloud Engineering, and DevOps teams playing a vital role in designing and implementing cybersecurity controls.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and continuously optimize cybersecurity controls in line with business objectives, industry best practices along with evolving technologies.

• Work with a team of experts to assess the security posture of various Intapp systems, products, networks, and applications, and provide recommendation for improvement.

• Collaborate with other engineers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure that security best practices are followed throughout the system and data lifecycle.

• Work with system owners, and custodians to design, implement, enforce, and automate data protection best practices, such as classification, data loss prevention, data encryption, encryption lifecycle, secret rotation, etc.

• Help Intapp Incident response team to investigate security events and incidents in Intapp’s products and cloud infrastructure.

• Brief various leadership teams on the status of security initiatives and effectiveness of security controls.

• Stay updated on the latest IT security trends, threats, and technologies.

Requirements:

• 8-10 years of experience in cyber security engineering or related role.

• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, methods, and technologies.

• Hands-on experience in system, network, application, and cloud security.

• Ability to determine the scope of problem and solution, assess impact of proposed solution, and driving the design and implementation of solution.

• Experience in cloud security, and demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud service and security controls.

• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

• Self-starting individual contributor and strong team player.

Great to have!

• Security engineer or architect certifications.

• Experience in SaaS and PaaS security controls.

• Experience in customer-managed encryption, automating encryption key lifecycle.
