Requirements

ROLE OVERVIEW

The data analyst will play an important role in crafting data-driven digital experiences on behalf of the companies clients. The role demands a blend of analytical acumen and an understanding of how data influences design and user engagement.The ideal candidate will excel at interpreting complex data sets to deliver insights that shape intuitive, high performance websites and applications.


You will be tasked with dissecting user interactions, discerning the subtle patterns that inform behaviour, and narrating the story that the data tells.

You will ensure the integrity and precision of our data collection, working alongside developers and designers to embed analytics into our digital projects. In this role collaboration is key; you will translate data findings into actionable strategies for a diverse range of stakeholders.


RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Design and manage robust analytics frameworks across a variety of digital platforms to capture relevant user data

  • Formulate and enforce best practices for data tagging and tracking across iOS, Android and Web Applications

  • Engage with the development team to integrate analytics solutions and troubleshoot any issues that arise during implementation

  • Perform data validation and quality assurance exercises to ensure accuracy and consistency of analytics data

  • Analyse web traffic and user engagement metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement

  • Utilise a suite of analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Contentsquare, Amplitude, Mixpanel), to derive insights that inform design and UX strategy

  • Prepare comprehensive reports and present findings to stakeholders, offering evidence-based recommendations for optimisation

  • Act as a conduit between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex data concepts into clear, actionable business insights


PERSON PROFILE

  • Be highly numerate, commercial and data-driven 

  • Ability to effectively communicate with people at varying levels of seniority, delivering key information in a clear, translatable way to team members unused data-led analysis

  • Can voice their opinion on what the data means and give the ‘so what’ to the client

  • Understands statistical significance and can use predefined models to calculate it on projects
