About the Position

OpenLoop is looking for a Pod Lead to join our team remotely. This role will be a member of the Clinical Operations Team and report to the Medical Director. The role will be split between:

  • Working with and managing our talented and growing group of nurse practitioners (NPs) and physician assistants (PAs) to ensure safe and effective care via telehealth across a variety of clients and conditions

  • Providing direct patient care via both asynchronous and synchronous consults in states of active licensure and collaboration

Responsibilities 
  • Work alongside other members of the Clinical Operations leadership team to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate care via telemedicine to patients across the country for a wide variety of conditions

  • Manage and lead a team of nurse practitioners (NPs), and physician assistants (PAs)

  • Establish recurring 1:1s with nurse practitioners (NPs) and physician assistants (PAs) as needed

  • Work alongside the Clinical Education team to train providers on clinical protocols

  • Identify areas of process improvements and inefficiencies

  • Work closely with all levels of stakeholders to execute clinical and operational processes and programs

  • Responsible for continued assessment of quality, productivity, and performance improvement to promote practice growth and development

  • Be able and willing to conduct both asynchronous and synchronous patient care consults 

  • Provides clinical leadership by directing, coordinating, and delegating patient care in an organized manner while allowing for flexibility as appropriate 

  • Ability to effectively communicate expectations, motivate individuals, foster collaboration, and demonstrate a proven ability to provide positive leadership that supports teamwork



Requirements


  • Must have current, active APRN medical licensure in multiple states

  • Masters Degree, Post Master's Certificate or Doctorate in Nursing

  • Current national certification in family practice through ANCC, AANP or another - nationally recognized certification

  • At a minimum, two (2) years of management of nurse practitioners (NPs) or other healthcare professionals at a similar level in a US health system within the past three (3) years or recent relevant experience required

  • Must possess an active, non-restrictive medical licensure in AT MINIMUM : 20 States

  • Prior experience in virtual care required

  • Availability to work extended hours and certain weekends 

  • Prior experience leading clinical teams, preferably with educational experience

  • Computer proficient with Google Suite and virtual communication platforms 

  • Able to quickly adapt to new technologies, such as software and operating systems

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work cross-functionally across multiple teams and stakeholders

  • Team player 

  • Able to quickly pivot as needed in a rapidly growing startup environment 

  • Passionate about motivating and growing a successful team
