Moog Industrial Group** specializes in high-performance motion control products and solutions for a variety of industrial applications including plastics, metal forming, power generation, flight simulation, automotive and aerospace testing, oil and gas exploration, wind energy, plus many others.

Our team in Finance Industrial Group is looking for a Finance Business Partner to join them. You will report to the Director, Finance and will work in Murphy, North Carolina and Radford, Virginia. You will be a trusted partner, advisor and member of the leadership team that delivers the business’ strategy, commitments, and financial goals. Remote work schedule may be considered.

You will influence and support business decision making through delivering forward-looking financial insights, business and commercial acumen, and ensuring understanding of strategic goals. You will lead the work group’s finance operations including, accounting, financial management and FP&A, and continuous improvement activities, and is accountable for the leadership and development of the respective finance team. **

To be considered for Finance Business Partner, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:**

  • Bachelors of Science degree with seven (7) years of related experience including a minimum of three (3) years of business partner experience required
  • Experience working in a manufacturing organization
  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) experience
  • Understanding of financial principles
  • Strong track record exhibiting analytical and data driven problem solving
  • Anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues
  • Communicate complex financial information to variety of partners.
  • Develop and maintain customer-centric relationships
  • Successfully navigate ambiguous or uncertain situations

As a Finance Business Partner, you will:

  • Strategic Business Partnering: Build relationships with business leaders and partners, act as a trusted advisor, and provide financial insights to support the decision-making processes.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, to assess the financial health of the organization and identify areas for improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement: identify process improvement opportunities within the finance team and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor necessary financial KPIs, track performance against targets, and provide regular reports to management to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with leaders to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the business’ objectives.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Help develop annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and agreement on strategic objectives.
  • Risk Management: Identify financial risks and opportunities, conduct risk assessments, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Financial Modeling: Develop financial models and scenarios to support business cases, investment decisions, and long-term financial planning.
  • Financial Reporting: Report numbers and ensure robustness andaccuracy
