We are committed to partnering with healthcare organizations, providing innovative tools and services to streamline their revenue cycle operations. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Cerner Revenue Cycle Certification Specialist to join our team. 


Responsibilities: 

  1. Obtain and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Cerner's Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) software, including registration, scheduling, billing, and claims management. 
  2. Acquire Cerner RCM certification and stay up to date with any changes, updates, or new features introduced in the software. 
  3. Collaborate with internal teams, including IT, Finance, and Clinical, to ensure successful integration and optimization of Cerner RCM solutions. 
  4. Provide support and training to end-users, ensuring they understand and effectively utilize Cerner RCM tools. 
  5. Assist in developing and updating training materials, manuals, and other resources to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous learning. 
  6. Conduct regular audits of system configuration and workflows, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions. 
  7. Serve as the primary point of contact for Cerner RCM-related issues, liaising with Cerner support when necessary to resolve technical issues. 
  8. Participate in revenue cycle optimization projects, leveraging Cerner RCM tools to improve financial performance and patient satisfaction. 
  9. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in revenue cycle management, sharing insights with the team and driving continuous improvement. 


Preferred Qualifications: 

  1. Experience with Cerner Millennium and Cerner Soarian Financials. 
  2. Prior experience in a hospital or healthcare setting. 
  3. Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding. 
  4. Experience with project management and process improvement methodologies.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in revenue cycle management, with a focus on Cerner RCM solutions. 
  • Cerner RCM certification or ability to obtain certification within 3 months of employment. 
  • Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle processes, including insurance verification, medical coding, billing, and collections. 
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify areas for improvement. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams and effectively train and support end-users. 
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
