EDI Analyst - SEC at BizTek People, Inc.

This is a remote position.

As our Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Developer, you'll conduct new EDI implementations, transactions analysis, debugging and testing according to specifications. You'll interface with users to determine system requirements and coordinate customer requirements with existing capabilities. You'll work with the Application Engineers to design, build, test and implement EDI transactions. You'll formulate system scope and objectives and convert symbolic statements of problems into appropriate specifications for coding EDI transactions. You'll provide EDI production systems support, interfacing directly with internal and external Business partners. This opportunity also involves fielding production support calls as the first point of contact, researching and analyzing problems, coordinating the correction of translation errors and re-processing EDI transactions. In addition, you'll collaborate with other IT functions to create and integrate solutions and perform other accountabilities as assigned.

Requirements for the position include:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or an equivalent technical degree
  
• Five Years’ experience with EDI transactions, implementations, & external Partner collaboration and Industry Standards experience with both EDI & Industry process standards
  
• Mapping experience using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator is required
  
• Exposure to Supply Chain domain areas like inventory management, order management, logistics management, warehouse management
  
• Experience with technical analysis including the ability to define business impacts, discover and recommend solutions
  
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn new technologies and processes quickly
  
• Exposure to implementing or integrating with enterprise scale packages like SAP S4, IBM Sterling, Manhattan WMS
  
• Experience in IT, business or related experience is preferred, specifically technical or retail customer service
  
• Working knowledge of Scrum and agile principles
  
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented
  
• Strong customer service and communication skills
  
• Results oriented and a drive to make things happen
  
• Retail industry, Finance and/or logistics systems experience is required
  
• Experience or exposure to SAP (Sales and Distribution module) and IDOC’s is a plus
  

Desired Skills

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science of equivalent

·         Professional experience designing and implementing EDI standards

·         IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (B2Bi) Experience – 2 years

·         Translation Map Development (XML, JSON Data format, Positional, Delimited)

·         Business Process Modeler Development (BPML)

·         Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) standards (X12, EDIFACT)

·         Experience with file transfer protocols (e.g., AS2, SFTP, MFT)

·         Proficient in Unix/Linux platforms and writing shell scripts

·         Exposure to SAP (preferably Order Management modules)
