Your missions

This is a remote position.

BizFirst is assisting our client with recruiting a Full-time Direct Hire Full Stack Developer – 100% Remote. Our client provides high-end engineering solutions to various government agencies supporting their mission.

Work Authorization Requirement: US Citizen

What you’ll do:

  • Design new components and systems using extensible frameworks
  • Writing well-designed, testable, efficient code by using modern software development practices
  • Collaborate with product management and translate user stories and visual mockups into a workable solution
  • Provide recommendations for continuous product improvements


Must Haves:

  • Five to ten years working in a professional software development environment
  • Five years working as a Full stack developer
  • Strong front-end experience with UI/UX
  • Strong Experience with Typescript & JavaScript, React, NodeJS,
  • Strong understanding of REST API concepts and frameworks
  • Experience with unit testing and test-driven development (TDD)
  • Cross-browser development and testing
  • Familiarity with web application security concepts
  • SQL

Desired:

  • Experience with AWS - specifically Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, SNS/SQS, API gateway and CloudFormation
  • Basic understanding of Python 3
  • Experience with containerization systems such as Docker or virtualization platforms such as VMWare
  • Experience with Kubernetes, OpenSearch, Auth services, PostgreSQL
  • Familiarity with git workflows and CI/CD
