We are currently seeking several Physiotherapists to undertake long-term assignments in the Cayman Islands. The successful candidates will play a crucial role in promoting and restoring patients' health by providing physical therapy and rehabilitation services.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Assessment and Diagnosis:
   • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions to identify movement and mobility issues.
   • Formulate accurate diagnoses based on assessment findings and collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed.
2. Treatment Planning and Implementation:
   • Develop personalized treatment plans that address patients' specific needs and goals.
   • Administer a variety of physical therapy techniques, exercises, and interventions to improve patients' functional abilities.
   • Educate patients on proper self-care strategies and exercises to enhance their recovery.
3. Rehabilitation:
   • Guide patients through rehabilitative exercises to improve strength, flexibility, and overall mobility.
   • Utilize therapeutic modalities and assistive devices as appropriate to facilitate recovery.
4. Documentation and Reporting:
   • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting treatment plans, progress, and outcomes.
   • Provide regular progress reports to interdisciplinary healthcare teams and collaborate with other professionals for comprehensive patient care.
5. Patient Education:
   • Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
   • Promote a proactive approach to health and wellness through lifestyle modifications and injury prevention strategies.
6. Continuing Education:
   • Stay abreast of advancements in physiotherapy and participate in professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid license to practice as a physiotherapist in the Cayman Islands.
