ABOUT HEALTHFORCE
Healthforce is a company seeking to solve systemic problems in the healthcare system through technology. We work with a diverse range of partners to do so.
Our first solution to market has been a digital product that enables team-based primary healthcare. Nurses use the system to manage central patient records, and to instantly connect by video call to a team of GPs, should their patient need a prescription or advice from a doctor. This means nurses can act as the entry point to the healthcare system, cost of care can be reduced and access to GPs is improved.
Healthforce has been rolled out to 450 clinic rooms across South Africa so far, including all Dis-Chem clinics. Over 1 million nurse consultations and 100,000 telemedicine doctor consultations have been captured on the system. We are on a pathway to rapidly scale this offering in South Africa and internationally. In addition, we have several new products in the pipeline. Nevertheless, the organisation is still in its infancy. And it is time to grow our team…
THE ROLE
Healthforce is a lean, low ego, highly skilled team of multidisciplinary experts, including healthcare, product, engineering, analytics, organisational development and training. We are product-led - meaning that we always start with what our customers need and work as a team to deliver from there. Our team uses modern tools and practices, and customer-centric ways of working.
As a data analyst in our Analytics team, you will work to find opportunities for the business to improve using data. You will collect and manipulate data to present to various stakeholders to inform of discovered insights. You will also be responsible for producing various critical reports on an ongoing basis.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Create dashboards and reports. You will elicit requirements from stakeholders to craft useful and accurate reports and dashboards. You will also continuously identify opportunities and use your programming skills to automate processes, manage data and improve reporting.

Producing operational insights. You will use your statistics skills to identify trends, describe data and produce insights impacting various aspects of the business. You will communicate these in a professional, actionable and relatable manner.
Importantly, you need to be socially minded and should want to apply your creativity and skills to reimagining the way out-of-hospital healthcare can be delivered to all South Africans when enabled by technology.
CULTURE FIT
Healthforce’s culture is central to how we do things. We help people, we are aware, and our experience informs our pragmatic approach. That translates into specific behaviours we expect of each other internally and in how we serve our external stakeholders: the ability to connect; the ability to plan; the ability to keep people informed; the ability to deliver; and the ability to learn and grow.
