Registered Dietitian-Travel

This is a remote position.

RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking a Full-Time Acute Care Travel- Registered Dietitian 40hrs/wk

Position will work 40 hours per week for a minimum of a 13-week assignment. Can be 4-10 hour or 5-8 hour shifts.

Position will be providing nutrition care in Eastern North Carolina, various locations available. Travel is required for the position.

Travel Registered Dietitian / RD

The Travel Registered Dietitian is responsible for providing nutritional services to Acute Care patients through monitoring, assessment, calculations, recommendations, and education.

The Acute Care-Travel Registered Dietitian is a part of the clinic management team and duties include:

• Management of patient nutritional care including assessment of patient knowledge regarding diet, chronic disease, and impact of diet on treatment process.
  
• Completion of nutritional assessments and calculation of diet based on client needs and standard of practice
  
• Assessment of patient nutritional status
  
• Reviewing nutrition related lab results with patients
  
• Coordination with doctors regarding nutrition care plan
  
• Identification of malnourished patients as well as patients at risk for malnutrition
  

Our Travel Registered Dietitian in this location can expect the following:

• 13 week Travel assignment
  
• Acute Setting
  

Hours must be completed during business hours Monday-Friday.

Compensation: $35.00-$40.00/hr DOE

Paid Travel time: $35.00-$40.00/hr, Travel Reimbursement Costs.

Job Requirements for our Travel Registered Dietitian

• Graduate from an accredited school
  
• Registered Dietitian as per Commission on Dietetic Registration
  
• Minimum of 1 year professional work experience as a Registered Dietitian
  
• Ability to teach
  
• Current State RD License, Where Applicable by State Policy for Clinic Location
  
• Able to work independently while striving for the best in patient care
