Job description

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Student Success Associate to join our dynamic team at our EdTech company. As a Student Success Associate with a focus on customer retention, upsells, and referrals, you will be responsible for ensuring the success and satisfaction of our students while also driving revenue growth through retention strategies, upselling opportunities, and fostering a referral culture. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive student retention, reduce churn, and increase overall customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with students, serving as their main point of contact and advocate throughout their learning journey.
  • Proactively engage with students to understand their goals, challenges, and needs, and provide personalized support and guidance to ensure their success.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling additional products, services, or advanced learning programs to existing students, maximizing revenue potential.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to identify upselling opportunities, create targeted campaigns, and track progress.
  • Monitor and analyze student usage and performance data to identify at-risk students and develop tailored intervention strategies to improve retention.
  • Develop and implement referral programs to encourage students to refer their peers to the platform, driving new customer acquisition.
  • Provide training and support to students on the benefits and features of additional products or services, demonstrating their value and relevance to their learning goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product, to ensure seamless customer experiences and optimize upselling and referral initiatives.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in customer success and retention, applying new strategies to enhance customer loyalty and drive revenue growth.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in customer success management, account management, or a similar role within the EdTech or technology industry.
  • Demonstrated success in driving customer retention, upsells, and referrals, with a focus on revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence customer behavior.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and metrics to drive actionable insights.
  • Experience in sales or upselling, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Customer-focused mindset and a genuine passion for ensuring customer success and satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and data analytics tools.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Prior experience in the EdTech industry or online learning environments is a plus.
