About The Opportunity**

Reporting to the Assistant Director, AA/EEO/Compliance, the Talent Operations Specialist provides operational support including but not limited to technical reporting, auditing, program monitoring, and vendor relations. This position completes data analysis and report preparation to ensure compliance for federal, state, and local mandates. **

What You'll Do

  • Generate, distributes, and maintains records as required for standard and custom reports on weekly, monthly, and annual reporting to ensure compliance related to internal processes and procedures, and federal, state, and local mandates. Reporting spans a wide variety of data and metrics. Assures all reporting details are accurate and meets any required deadlines provided.
  • Formats, and analyze large and complex annual Affirmative Action reports for submission to Affirmative Action vendor under the guidance of the Assistant Director.
  • Researches, tests, and implements upgrades or enhancements to Taleo Recruitment module.
  • Proactively recommends improvements around systems, processes, data, and user experience.
  • Receives, investigates, and resolves Taleo Recruiting technical issues.
  • Supports data governance and integrity initiatives.
  • Assist with coordination of the University system-wide background check program for staff, faculty, volunteers, and students. Ensure compliance with multiple regulations impacting background checks, including but not limited to the Fair Credit Reporting Act and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act. Ensure that all background check policies are followed under Board of Governors’ Title IX / Children on Campus Rule 1.7.
  • Provides support and ensures compliance through weekly, monthly, and annual audits.
  • Participate in the HR Org Request committee and facilitate approved changes.
  • Monitor and update the Talent Strategy webpage as requested.
  • Review and update knowledge-based articles to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist with policy updates.
  • At the request of leadership work with current and/or future vendors to update or initiate vendor contracts. Participate as requested in the RFP process.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. **

Experience**

Minimum two years of relevant experience in technical reporting, auditing, program monitoring, and vendor relations. **

Minimum One Year Of Experience Working With Regulatory Compliance.**

Experience utilizing an applicant tracking system. **

Human Resources Experience Preferred.**

Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws governing employment policies and practices. **

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Access, and knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn internal HRIS and talent management systems.
