You will be the leader driving the strategy for how to leverage our data and deliver exceptional new digital experiences and insights. You will partner closely with our Global Product and Tech teams to understand what capabilities need to be built on a global scale or regional market needs. This is a rare opportunity to apply your unique Product, Data, Tech and Strategy skillsets to create your own Product practice to support the wider business. **

Responsibilities**

What you'll do...

You will be responsible and accountable for defining the strategy of stitching our data across journeys and systems to deliver exceptional new digital experiences. You’ll be expected to:

  • Partner with product, data engineering, ML, AI and digital tech teams to develop a shared vision of our data strategy for digital.
  • Work backwards from the needs of our digital product teams to inform the data requirements.
  • Deep dive into our customer journeys and our financial systems data to bridge the data requirements. Also, identify potential new digital product opportunities through data insights.
  • Write compelling Product Requirement Documents (PRDs).
  • Support and enable internal product teams and drive cohesive data requirements into data engineering; provide scale for insights that can leveraged to create amazing customer experiences.
  • Drive the vision and product roadmap, while delivering high quality and impactful launches through close partnership with a cross-functional team.

Qualifications

You'll have...

  • A proven product leader who drives data strategy on end-to-end product management lifecycle from development to deployment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of experience and education.
  • 8+ years’ experience working with customer, marketing and financial data like billing, servicing, payments, and loans.
  • Someone who can create customer journey maps and translate those to a product strategy.
  • Someone who can understand data models, data mappings, data orchestration technologies, data pipelines, ML, AI, data graphs, GCP cloud services like BigQuery, analytics and dashboards.

Even better, you may have...

  • Experience working on global teams and in a matrixed team structure and influencing across product and engineering areas
  • An excellent communicator with the ability to articulate vision and seek alignment across all parties.
  • You have the ability to influence without authority, working on/with technical and cross-functional or highly matrixed teams who do not report into this role to get things done.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
