What You'll Do**

As a Senior Back-End Software Engineer specializing in Performance Optimization, you will be pivotal in boosting the performance of our data-intensive, high-traffic backend systems. Your deep expertise in Node.js and database management will be vital for identifying performance bottlenecks and implementing solutions that ensure fast, efficient, and reliable server responses. **

Responsibilities**

Conduct comprehensive performance analyses of backend systems, focusing on optimization for handling large datasets and high-concurrency operations.

Implement best practices in Node.js and database design to optimize server-side code, with techniques such as query optimization, caching strategies, and load balancing.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed performance optimization into the continuous development and deployment process.

Develop specialized performance benchmarks and monitoring tools for backend services that handle extensive, complex data transactions.

Ensure the stability and scalability of backend services by employing advanced system design and architecture optimization. **

Requirements**

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

5+ years of backend development experience, with a strong emphasis on performance optimization in high-traffic environments.

Expert knowledge of Node.js and experience with performance tuning in server-side applications.

Deep understanding of database management and optimization, particularly with large volumes and complex data structures.

Proficiency in profiling and benchmarking server-side applications using relevant tools and techniques.

Demonstrated experience in optimizing backend systems for applications that demand high data throughput and complex processing.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on complex optimization challenges. **

Bonus Points**

Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture in performance-critical environments.

Knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure optimization for performance scaling.

Fluent in English. **
