Job description

This is a remote position.

Our partner is a leader in the world of test and measurement, industrial automation, and life science instruments. With more than 100 years of experience in measuring and controlling industrial processes, they encourage companies to unlock their full potential by providing innovative solutions.

We are seeking a seasoned BD/Account Manager to join their team. This position will be tasked with devising sales strategies and go-to-market plans for expanding our business. This position involves driving pipeline opportunities by engaging in prospecting, pre-qualifying leads, scheduling discovery meetings, following up, and presenting commercial proposals. 

The ideal candidate must possess a robust network of decision-makers or partners to enhance our chances of success and accelerate time-to-market. Additionally, the role entails identifying potential channel partners for reselling the company's AOIT Services.

Key Vertical Focus Area: A minimum of 5 years of experience required in:
- IIoT [Manufacturing/Factory/Plant]
- Energy and Sustainability

Duties:
- Build and maintain client relationships for short and mid-term goals.
- Promote recurring revenue models with clients.
- Develop business expansion strategies for assigned countries and regions together with sales teams.
- Provide support to regional sales and business development efforts, ensuring the successful implementation of expansion initiatives for long-term growth, particularly through fostering recurring business.
- Identify and onboard new clients within targeted sectors, driving pipeline growth through coordinated promotional efforts with regional and global teams.
- Assist in promoting services.
- Utilize agile methodologies to swiftly adapt to and address customer needs, facilitating quicker revenue generation.
- Analyze competition, understand decision-making processes, and position services strategically to secure business wins.
- Conduct discovery workshop with support from global team
- Foster relationships with end-users and business partner such as SI/Supplier
- Have a technical and business component Proposal to determine the scope, risk, terms and conditions, and cost with the proposal/bid team's assistance.
- Drive cross-selling with partners and affiliates.

Requirements
- 5-8 years in Business Development and Sales Management
- Extensive network with C-level decision makers in Key focus area
- A solid track record in incremental business, particularly in the AIoT and Asset Management and OT Industries
- Strong partner network for turnkey delivery, covering pre-sales and implementation.
- Expertise in Recurring Business Models like SaaS, including pricing strategies and growth models.
- Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders in a global team with a variety of backgrounds, cultures, and time zones.
- Skilled negotiator with the ability to convey and persuade customers smoothly.
- Exhibited familiarity with the full Business Management Lifecycle, including stakeholder interaction, multi-team environments, top-down and bottom-up processes, and deal-breaker 
- Extremely multitasking, agile in learning, and capable of swift adaptation.
- Capacity to flourish in a dynamic and fast-paced setting. 
- Outstanding presenting abilities and client focus.
